We partner with teams across the U-M Medical School to provide multidisciplinary combined training programs.

Our Programs

The U-M Medical School Department of Pediatrics' residency program supports the integration of multiple combined programs. This provides residents with unique opportunities to explore interconnected specialty areas and build expertise that will support them in becoming future leaders in the field.

Internal Medicine Pediatrics

Residents alternate rotations in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, satisfying board requirements for certification in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

Pediatric Physician Scientist Training

The program is offered as a mechanism to encourage and develop pediatric residents who are committed to a research career and offers dedicated research time during residency.
