Our Programs

We offer 112 accredited programs:

  • 31 residency programs (28 ACGME and 3 CODA)
  • 81 fellowships (79 ACGME, 1 CODA and 1 CPME)

More than 9,000 MDs, DOs, and MD/PhDs have completed their residencies and/or fellowships at the University of Michigan Medical School. That’s 9,000 individuals who have been able to take advantage of Michigan’s incredible array of resources in the areas of educationpatient care and research.

Because our academic medical center is located in close proximity to the U-M’s other top professional schools, including Nursing, Dentistry, Public Health, Social Work, Business, Law and Engineering, opportunities for collaboration, involvement and exploration in your field are endless.
