The U-M Medical School Department of Internal Medicine Division of Hematology and Oncology is committed and excited to train the future leaders in the field. 

In addition to our Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Training Program, our faculty teach residents in multiple settings, including inpatient services, outpatient clinics, and clinical and laboratory research activities. Moreover, our division has weekly and monthly clinical, research and case conferences, creating an environment of continuous learning and teaching.

Fellowship Program

Our comprehensive three-year Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Training Program offers dual certification in both hematology and medical oncology. Fellows have the opportunity to complete 18 months of clinical experience, with the remaining time spent in independent research.

Conferences & Lectures

Our division holds regularly scheduled conferences with the majority being available for physicians to earn CME credit. The University of Michigan Medical School is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
