Cardiovascular Medicine Education

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine provides our faculty and fellows with diverse and comprehensive educational opportunities in its mission to advance patient care and research in the field. In addition to our multiple fellowships and training programs, our division holds weekly and monthly conferences on relevant clinical and academic work related to cardiovascular medicine conditions.

Our faculty and staff also play an important role in the education and training of residents and medical students and participate in numerous continuing medical education activities to enrich the knowledge of health care professionals in the communities we serve.

Fellowships & Training Programs

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine offers multiple, competitive fellowships and training programs, including a general cardiology disease fellowship, seven advanced cardiology fellowships, and two NIH-funded T32 research training programs.

Conferences & Lectures

Our division holds regularly scheduled conferences with the majority being available for physicians to earn CME credit. The University of Michigan Medical School is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
