The Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program participates in the Match. You must apply to our program through ADEA PASS and enroll in the Match.

Applications are due September 15, and in-person interview dates are November 1, 2024 and December 10, 2024.

Eligibility

Applicants who have completed a course of study at an American Dental Association (ADA)-accredited dental school, and who have graduated with a DDS or DMD are eligible to apply.

At the present time, the U-M Medical School Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program offers 3 categorical residency positions. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States. We also welcome applicants with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status.
