The U-M Medical School Department of Family Medicine is exploring how technology can aid doctors in treating patients, whether it’s using a continuous glucose monitoring device to manage blood sugar related to diabetes; equipment that allows physicians to remotely track a person’s blood pressure; or an alert in the electronic health record that prompts doctors to ask the patient about hearing loss. 

Our researchers are studying different technological methods to improve patient care.
