2025 U-M Kellogg Eye Center Annual Report
This report covers the period July 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025
2025 was a landmark year for the U-M Kellogg Eye Center, defined by major advances in vision care, research, education, and patient impact. Highlights include national recognition and NIH funding for our research teams, first-in-human adult RPE stem cell therapy for macular degeneration, new innovation partnerships, and the opening of a state-of-the-art microsurgical classroom. We also recognize the generous support of our patients and donors, whose investments— including the legacies of Bill and Delores Brehm and Susan Lane—continue to advance vision research and care.
