Global Ophthalmology Fellowship
The Jerome Jacobson Global Program at the W.K. Kellogg Eye Center offers a one- to two-year fellowship designed to train future leaders in academic global ophthalmology.
The U-M Medical School Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences' Global Ophthalmology Fellowship is tailored to each fellow’s career goals, with opportunities in service, clinical and epidemiological research, operations research, and clinical and research capacity building.
A core emphasis of the program is fostering reciprocal, culturally competent partnerships with diverse global collaborators. Fellows work closely with long-standing partners both locally and internationally, including in Burundi, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Jamaica and Kenya.
