As a trainee, I appreciated the incredible support and encouragement the OBGYN department provided in pursuing my unique interests and passions. Both as a resident and fellow, department leadership and mentors enabled me to individualize my clinical experiences and research work related to gender-affirming care. The space for individualized training allowed me to foster my passions and develop the skills I needed for the next steps in my career and clinical care.
