Our department has evolved into a national leader for specialty gynecologic care, innovative research and world-class education.
The Division of Gynecology faculty have expertise in the full breadth of gynecologic care, including:
- Urogynecology (including Pelvic Floor Disorders, Bowel Control, and Healthy Healing After Delivery)
- Complex Family Planning
- Minimally Invasive Surgery
- Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology
- Cancer Genetics and Breast Health
- Vulvar Diseases
- Gynecologic Care for Adolescents and Women with Disabilities
- Endometriosis and Chronic Pelvic Pain
Faculty in the Division of Gynecology are dedicated to medical student, resident, and fellow education. We provide our learners with robust research support, including expert mentorship, funding to attend national meetings, opportunities to present original research at local and national levels. Our trainees go on to become leaders in their fields, including leaders of fellowship training programs across the country.
Our division is home to 5 ACGME and non-ACGME training programs.
The Gynecology Division constantly seeks to develop new and innovative areas of women’s health research. We have a diverse research portfolio with established programs focused on women’s pelvic floor disorders, chronic pelvic pain across the life course, and improving health and health equity through research on health services and policy.
