Established in 1904, the U-M Medical School Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery is one of the oldest in the country with a rich history of excellence in clinical care, research and medical education.
We have almost 60 clinical and basic science faculty along with 6 fellows and 27 residents.

The University of Michigan Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery has an outstanding opportunity for board-certified/eligible comprehensive otolaryngologists to join our faculty group who will practice full-time at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow (UMH-Sparrow) in Lansing, Michigan. UMH-Sparrow is a Level 1 trauma center and 700+ bed tertiary-care hospital in the state's capital city. We are seeking individuals with the skills and experience to practice the full scope of contemporary comprehensive otolaryngology. Candidates should also have experience and interest in maxillofacial trauma.

We are seeking an individual with skills and experience to practice the full scope of contemporary medical and surgical rhinology. The successful candidate will support inflammatory disease and benign tumors, our multidisciplinary program for hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia and be a member of our collaborative multidisciplinary team for the management of sinonasal and anterior skull base tumors.

Applications are being considered for a full-time, tenure-track position in the Kresge Hearing Research Institute and the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. We are seeking exceptional scientists to establish vigorous independent research programs, form productive collaborations and promote translation of their research in a diverse and inclusive environment.
The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D., M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and will have research interests relevant to auditory and vestibular function broadly defined, including the development, function and pathologies of the auditory and vestibular systems, from peripheral to central. Candidates performing human, animal and/or computational research are encouraged to apply.
