Our residents benefit from a variety of educational opportunities that develop clinical, operative and research skills. Throughout training, residents have the opportunity to practice skills in the clinical simulation center, attend didactic seminars.

PGY-4 residents attend a specialized course on facial trauma for additional training in this area and to supplement learning.

Clinical Simulation Center
Michigan Medicine’s has two multidisciplinary Clinical Simulation Centers that provide opportunities to learn and practice new skills and procedures in nearly real situations without risk of injury to a patient, while also providing an effective means of assessing competency.
