The U-M Medical School Department of Urology Division of Endourology has an active research program with specific focus on:

  • Technology development, innovation and refinement of new techniques for treatment of urinary stone disease.
  • Use of health services research methods to improve the quality of care delivery and optimize outcomes for patients with urinary stone disease and benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Development of new educational approaches and curricula to enhance education and assimilation of Urological knowledge.

Led by Dr. William Roberts, the Endourology Translational Research Lab innovates and refines urologic technologies to advance endourological treatment.
