Host Defense

Faculty in the Immunology Graduate Program at the U-M Medical School have strengths in HIV persistence and immune evasion, immunity to viral and bacterial infections of the lung, innate immunity to bacterial infections, signaling by innate immune receptors in response to microbial infections, anti-fungal immunity and mechanisms of virus-host interactions.
