Cancer Immunology & Immunotherapy
Faculty in the Immunology Graduate Program at the U-M Medical School study the human cancer microenvironment, the role of gut microbiota and inflammation in carcinogenesis, oncogenic regulators of innate immunity, molecular mechanisms underlying tumor tolerance and metabolic rewiring in cancer. In the immunotherapy arena, we have expertise in T cell-based approaches to cancer immunotherapy, nanovaccines against cancers and in tumor imaging.
