Students for Psychedelic Medicine
Students for Psychedelic Medicine goals are to educate the Michigan Medicine community on the highly effective and evolving field of consciousness and psychedelic-assisted therapies.
This group aims to provide members with opportunities to receive training and/or research involvement in consciousness and psychedelic medicine studies and clinical sessions. Members have opportunities to discuss relevant literature, and incorporate elements of social justice advocacy, particularly surrounding the destigmatization of mental health and addiction treatment in relationship to psychedelic medicine’s therapeutic use potential.
