Trever Koester, MD

Trever grew up in Somerset, WI and attended the University of Wisconsin – Stout, graduating summa cum laude. He then worked for a year in clinical research at Gillette Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, MN. He earned his MD at Harvard Medical School. He chose U-M for its excellent clinical training, collegiality, and commitment to academic development. Trever’s clinical interests include abdominal transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery. He is passionate about surgical education and mentorship.
