Nikolas Grotewold

Research Interests: Neurodegenerative diseases, protein quality control pathways, microscopy, brain organoids

Niki Grotewold is currently in his PhD phase of his MD-PhD and is excited to study neurodegenerative diseases through the Cellular and Molecular Biology program. He grew up in Columbus, Ohio and went to school at The Ohio State University. He plays soccer and piano and enjoys cooking and traveling in his free time. His favorite thing about Ann Arbor is kayaking on the Huron river.
