About
Chaitanya Madamanchi is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine and Radiology at the University of Michigan. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. He then completed a two-year Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging fellowship at The Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA where he trained in Cardiovascular CT, Cardiac MRI, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography. He joined the faculty at Michigan in 2020. His clinical work includes advanced cardiovascular imaging in the modalities listed above, as well as providing care to patients with a variety of cardiovascular diseases in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. His research work focuses on the use of multimodality cardiovascular imaging in the diagnosis and risk stratification of patients with cardiovascular diseases. He has Level III Certification in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and cardiovascular CT. He is the director of the advanced cardiovascular imaging fellowship program and the co-director of Cardiac MRI.
