Dr. Megan Shetty Joseph is a cardiologist and echocardiographer in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Michigan. She sees patients at the Frankel Cardiovascular Center and is a member of the multidisciplinary structural heart team.
She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Michigan and subsequently served as Chief Medical Resident. She completed fellowship training in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Michigan where she served as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Joseph’s interests include valvular heart disease, the use of echocardiography to guide procedures for structural heart disease, ways to improve diversity in the field of cardiology, and medical education.
