Research Overview
Dr. Gorga is involved in evaluating the impact of acute kidney injury (AKI) and intravenous fluid management strategies on critically ill children. Specifically, Dr. Gorga is interested in understanding the controllable factors and clinician decision making processes during critical time periods in severe illnesses. He is a member of many multi-center observational studies and is a member of the Worldwide Exploration of Renal Replacement Outcomes Collaborative in Kidney Disease (WE-ROCK) steering committee, leading the ECMO subsection.
