    Seth A. Waits, MD is a faculty member in the Section of Transplant Surgery. Dr. Waits received his medical degree from the University of Toledo in 2009. He completed his general surgery residency and abdominal transplant fellowship at the University of Michigan in 2018. While a research fellow in transplantation and general surgery from 2013-2015, he investigated quality improvement efforts across hospital collaboratives and looked for novel methods of surgical education. He is board certified by the American College of Surgeons and holds a certificate of completion of fellowship from the American Society of Transplant Surgeons
