    Dr. Mishal Mendiratta-Lala earned her B.S. in Health Sciences from Kalamazoo College in 2000. She earned her MD from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2004. She went on to perform her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Following this she performed a Fellowship within Abdominal Radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital at Harvard University in 2009. in 2010 she became a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at Wayne State University School of Medicine and a Senior Staff Physician at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She would go on to become a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Radiology at Michigan Medicine in 2015 and later would become an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology in 2018. She has serves as the Co-Director of Interventional Oncology within the Department of Radiology at the University of Michigan since 2021 as well as the Director of Abdominal MRI within the department of Radiology at the University of Michigan.
