    Dr. Peng serves as the director of pediatric heart failure and mechanical circulatory support at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. He specializes in caring for patients with heart failure, cardiomyopathy, ventricular assist devices (VADs), and heart transplantation. He holds leadership positions within the Advanced Cardiac Therapies Improving Outcomes Network (ACTION), Pediatric Heart Transplant Society, International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation, Society of Thoracic Surgeons - Intermacs/Pedimacs, and International Pediatric Transplant Association. Outside of work, Dr. Peng loves traveling, trying new restaurants, and watching and playing sports with his family.
