    Dr. Peng serves as the director of pediatric heart failure and mechanical circulatory support at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital Congenital Heart Center. He specializes in the care of children with heart failure, cardiomyopathy, ventricular assist devices (VADs), and heart transplantation. He holds leadership positions within the Advanced Cardiac Therapies Improving Outcomes Network (ACTION), International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation, Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and International Pediatric Transplant Association.

    Research Overview

    Dr. Peng’s current research interests include pediatric clinical trials, ventricular assist devices, myocardial recovery, novel medical and device therapies for heart failure, and molecular diagnosistics in heart transplantation.
