    Dr. Anne Fernandez, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. She is an expert in addiction, the psychology of health behavior change, motivational interviewing, behavioral medicine, and health psychology. Her work focuses on integrating and improving screening, intervention, and treatment for addiction and unhealthy substance use in broad healthcare settings, including medical and surgical settings. Her research is supported by multiple grants from the National Institutes of Health.
