Dr. Prisciandaro received her PhD in Chemical Physics at Michigan State University. Following graduation, she worked as a Research Fellow in the department of Radiation Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She then joined the clinical faculty at the University of Michigan and served as the lead brachytherapy physicist and Director of Brachytherapy Physics until November 2021. Dr. Prisciandaro currently serves as the Director of Clinical Physics, working closing with our physics and physician faculty, staff, and residents to support our patients, our current clinical services, and to investigate and introduce new technology and services. She is a member of the department’s Clinical Operations, Senior Leadership, and Variance Committee. At an institutional level, Dr. Prisciandaro serves on the University of Michigan's Radiation Policy Committee and the University of Michigan Health Systems Clinical Radiation Safety Committee.
