About
Dr. Lagisetty is a physician investigator who practices both as a primary care physician and within inpatient hospital settings. She completed medical school at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and went on to do her training in primary care and internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. Following residency she completed a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Fellowship in health services research and policy. Her clinical and research interests focuses on way to improve health care delivery to better manage pain and substance use disorders in primary care settings. She also leads a SAMHSA funded initiative to improve the medical school curriculum around substance use disorders and is involved with resident teaching in this area.
