Robert Chang, MD

I currently serve as the Associate Chief Clinical Officer – Adult Hospitals, Medicine & Therapy Services which involves the orchestration of clinical patient care between departments, units and hospital services. In that role, I regularly meet with departments, care management, patients, and direct medical units to improve quality, safety and clinical concerns such as length of stay. I also oversee the Hospital Care at Home Program, which is an innovative inpatient care delivery model within a patient’s home setting.

I have previously served as one of the original MPLAN medical directors, service chief and interim division chief of hospital medicine, the Inaugural Medical Director of Pharmacy, and the medical director of our COVID-19 vaccination efforts.
