About
Dr. Alisha Ching is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Michigan. She completed medical school at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and her pediatric residency at the University of Wisconsin. She completed a combined pediatric emergency medicine and advanced emergency medicine ultrasound fellowship at the University of Michigan before joining the faculty.
Dr. Ching serves as the Assistant Ultrasound Director of Children's Emergency Services and the Assistant Fellowship Director for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship. She also serves as a Co-Director for the medical students' Diagnostics and Therapeutics Branch ultrasound curriculum.
Dr. Ching's interests include point-of-care ultrasound, medical education, and health equity. She also enjoys providing mentorship for medical students and residents.
