Our department’s four-place jump in ranking during 2023, is one of the largest annual improvements in rank in the UM Medical School. Representing 6.28% market share of NIH funding allocated to dermatology in 2023, our department’s diverse NIH portfolio includes 1 K, 8 R01, 1 T32, 1 P, and 2 U awards.
This remarkable success was achieved through the hard work and dedication of our innovative research teams and represents ongoing commitment to advancing research to improve skin health for all patients.
