Translational Pharmacology

Translational pharmacologists transform fundamental discoveries gained at the bench to develop new medicines and clinical treatments that advance human health. Michigan Pharmacology is a leader in this area, translating innovations, new therapies, and novel diagnostics to clinical practice.

The strength of our translational pharmacology group spans diverse disease areas including epilepsy, bipolar disorder, autism, pain, addiction, thrombosis, cardiac arrhythmia, diabetes and cancer.
