  • About

I am a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of Michigan with a focus on clinician well-being, inpatient operations, patient flow, and academic-community collaboration. As Director of Medicine Triage and Admitting, I lead operational work related to medicine triage and capacity management across University of Michigan Health Adult Hospitals. My prior leadership of the Michigan St. Joes academic-community partnership further shaped my interest in designing operational workflows that are effective, collaborative, and human-centered for both patients and clinicians. My scholarly work includes publications and national presentations related to clinician well-being, discharge operations, geriatric mobility initiatives, and interhospital transfer partnerships. I actively participate in national collaboratives including HOMERuN and serve in leadership roles within the Society of Hospital Medicine and institutional well-being initiatives.
