Dr. Fulop-Cristiu (former Manu) received her medical degree at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timisoara, Romania. She completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Baile Felix Rehabilitation Hospital, Oradea, Romania, and an internal medicine residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Pontiac. Dr. Fulop-Cristiu completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of Michigan. She is board certified in hospice and palliative medicine. She has a special clinical interest in palliative medicine applied to the care of older adults, with focus on dementia care and education for healthcare providers and caregivers. Her research interests include geriatric and palliative medical education.
