Registration is now open for the ninth annual Leadership Summit for Women in Academic Medicine and Healthcare on April 9.
Hosted by the Office of Faculty Development, the summit is a rare opportunity for leaders from across the nation to focus on their professional development and the advancement of women. The summit accelerates the development of leaders through skill-based learning, connection with other leaders in academic medicine and healthcare, and insight from experts on how to successfully lead in today’s complex academic medicine and healthcare environment.
One of this year’s featured speakers is Tasha Eurich, Ph.D., an organizational psychologist, researcher, and New York Times bestselling author (“Shatterproof,” “Insight” “Bankable Leadership”). A sought-after speaker in the self-improvement space, Eurich is a candid yet compassionate voice. Pairing her scientific grounding with 20+ years of experience on the corporate front lines, she reveals the often-surprising secrets to success and fulfillment in the 21st Century.

Apply for a scholarship to attend the summit
In honor of Sonya R. Jacobs, an advocate for women and a visionary leader, the summit is dedicating 10 seats to deserving attendees, under the Sonya R. Jacobs Women’s Leadership Impact Scholarship. This initiative aims to empower emerging leaders with financial need, from students to early career faculty and staff, giving them the opportunity to gain valuable insights, build networks, and develop their potential.
To apply for one of the 10 free tickets, visit the Leadership Summit for Women’s website. If you have already registered for the summit with personal funds, you are eligible to apply for this scholarship. This opportunity is not open to those who have already registered with departmental funds.
Applications are open through Feb. 7 and awardees will be notified the week of Feb. 23.
