Parking on campus
U-M Commuter Buses: Parking is at a premium in Ann Arbor and the University. For information on where to park on campus please visit the U-M Parking and Transportation Services site. It includes campus parking maps, hours of enforcement for each campus lot, and commuter bus route maps. The U-M bus system crisscrosses campus and everyone can ride for free.
Campus Tours and Information Sessions: U-M’s admissions office offers information sessions and campus walking tours for prospective students and their families. More information can be found at the Office of New Student Programs site.
Ann Arbor City Buses: Ann Arbor’s city bus service, AATA has a comprehensive route network and four park and ride lots where commuters can park their cars for free and shuttle to campus. AATA also offers mobile RideTrak so that you can view the location and status of the bus you’re waiting for. Buses serving the Biomedical Sciences Research Building include 2C, 4A, and 18A. Fare is free for U-M students and staff with valid UMID, for others it is $1.50 each way, there are child and senior discounts available.
