Mackenzie Blazek

I am a Genetic Counselor's Assistant at Golden Genetics. My previous research focused on cognitive psychology, specifically on medical decision-making and the complexities of health-related thought processes. My advocacy efforts include being a Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line, an Art Therapist at Opening Minds through Art, Ohio’s Ambassador for the Usher syndrome Coalition, and a Family Navigator for Connect My Variant. My clinical/research interests include ophthalmic genetic counseling.
