I am interested in the molecular mechanisms of neuroinflammation and how these mechanisms contribute to neurodegeneration. Particularly, I want to study the responses of astrocytes and microglia to inflammatory insults. Outside of the lab I spend most of my time being active. I enjoy lifting, running, kayaking and hiking. To relax I often stream movies and TV shows while sitting with my cat, Ralph.
