Isabel (Isa) Torres is a sociocultural anthropologist working at the intersection of anthropology and ethnic studies, specifically Asian and Pacific Islander American Studies. Her research focuses on migration, diaspora, food, and healthcare in the context of Hawaiʻi. She attended undergrad at Williams College and majored in Critical Health Studies. She is originally from Utah and enjoys biking, skiing, martial arts, and hiking with her partner and dog, Poggio.
