Dr. Neal Duggal, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and the Director of Anesthesia for Structural Heart Interventions. He joined faculty in 2014 following completion of anesthesiology residency and cardiothoracic and vascular anesthesiology fellowship at the University of Michigan. He received advanced training in intraprocedural echocardiography for transcatheter therapies. His clinical interests include advanced heart failure and interventional echocardiography with a focus on percutaneous and transcatheter mitral and tricuspid interventions. His research is focused advanced intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography, heart failure therapy including mechanical support devices and transcatheter therapies.
