Celebrate the Future of Medicine
At the annual White Coat Ceremony, we welcome a new class of dedicated, passionate future physicians to the University of Michigan Medical School.
Our annual white coat ceremony marks a significant first step in the promising careers of passionate and talented learners. This tradition marks an educational milestone: entry into medicine. Our incoming students gather in the presence of their families, mentors, faculty, staff, and leaders of the Medical School to receive the cloak of their future profession — the white coat — and you can help.
You can sponsor a white coat, stethoscope, or both, for an incoming medical student. You can encourage these learners to step into their medical education with confidence and curiosity, ready to ask the questions that will advance the future of medicine.
Alumni support shows Medical School learners they are part of a community — not only at Michigan Medicine but everywhere they go, as part of the U-M family. Thank you for your partnership, and Go Blue!
Once we receive enough sponsorships, additional gifts will support students throughout their four years of medical school and aid students through the Dean’s Scholarship Fund.
