SAMoSA has established relationships with Michigan Medicine physicians of similar descent so that students can gain valuable mentorship throughout their time here. We collaborate with other med student groups in hosting community-building events including health fairs, health education, and volunteer opportunities as well as organizing various social events. All students who are interested in learning about South Asian culture through a medical lens are welcome to join.
