Ryan graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2017 with a degree in Biochemistry and matriculated to Michigan's MSTP in 2018. He is currently a PhD fellow in the lab of Dr. Marcin Cieslik. His research focuses on leveraging integrative clinical sequencing to better understand childhood and adult malignancies.

His favorite restaraunt in Michigan is Grandma Bob's Pizza and he enjoys playing kickball and volleyball recreationally.
