I chose the University of Michigan because the residency program was the best fit for me in every aspect that I found important. The clinical education and case experiences are second to none; the people within the U-M Anesthesiology Department are not only impressive professionally but are also great teachers and mentors; the opportunities for leadership and research are plentiful; and finally, the state of Michigan is really the best place to live!
