I wanted a well-rounded program that could open a variety of doors during my anesthesiology training, including clinical excellence, research, leadership, mentorship, DEI, global health, and medical education opportunities. Equally important, I wanted a welcoming, supportive, and diverse place. I have found all of these things at the University of Michigan. Since my first day in Ann Arbor, I have felt so lucky to be a part of this community.
