    Kevin C. Chung, MD, MS, is the William C. Grabb Distinguished University Professor of Surgery, and the Charles B. G. De Nancrede Professor of Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Michigan. He was the inaugural Chief of Hand Surgery for Michigan Medicine and the Associate Director of Global REACH, the medical school’s global health program. He has served for 13 years as the Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs for which he is responsible for Tenure and Promotions. He is the Distinguished Visiting Professor at Beijing Tsinghua University.
    Dr. Chung was the 75th President of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and Past President of the Plastic Surgery Foundation. He has published over 950 peer-reviewed manuscripts (over 50,000 citations with an H index of 104), over 500 book chapters, and 42 textbooks. He has had continuous funding from the National Institutes of Health for over 25 years. Dr. Chung is the Editor for Hand Clinics, past Deputy Editor for the Journal of Hand Surgery (American) and past Associate Editor for Journal of Hand Surgery (European). He is the Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
