Michigan has the unique combination of excellent clinical training and world-class research infrastructure within my area of interest to be the best place for me academically. I also feel that everyone from administrators to residents to the chair is as relaxed and happy as they are accomplished, which is incredibly important to me and shows that the department takes care of its own. All this in a beautiful town close to family made it an easy choice in the end.
