Dr. Braet is from St. Louis, MO. Before medical school, Drew spent a year researching the molecular biophysics of familial cardiomyopathies at Washington University in St. Louis. He was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and the Gold Humanism Honors Society at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He researches advanced vascular imaging, computational fluid dynamics, cerebrovascular disease, and aortic aneurysms. His hobbies include basketball, golf, running, cycling, and brewing beer.
