I am board-certified in both Endocrinology & Metabolism and Internal Medicine. From 2014-2021, I practiced at Ann Arbor Endocrinology & Diabetes Associates (annarborendo.com), affiliated with St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti, MI. While at "St. Joe's" (now known as Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital), I was also a Key Clinical Faculty Member in the St. Joseph Mercy Internal Medicine Residency Program, and worked as a supervising attending physician at the Academic Internal Medicine Clinic. In January 2022 I returned to the University of Michigan as full-time faculty in Endocrinology & Metabolism at VA Ann Arbor Health System, serving as Assistant Chief of Endocrinology & Metabolism. In my current role, I'm active in patient care, teaching at all levels, clinic administration, and clinical research. My interests include prevention of diabetes complications; the intersection of type 2 diabetes, obesity, and other obesity-related comorbidities; and improving endocrine care for patients across the healthcare system (not just in the endocrinology clinic).
