    Dr. Kimberly Burcar specializes in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology. She completed her anesthesiology residency, fellowship, and was faculty at Loyola University Medical Center prior to joining our department in 2019. Dr. Burcar specializes in the perioperative management of complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular patients at the Frankel Cardiovascular Center. As a board-certified advanced perioperative transesophageal echocardiographer she provides comprehensive monitoring and diagnostic capabilities for her complex cardiac patient population. Passionate about mentorship and education, Dr. Burcar is the current Program Director of the Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship.
