    I am an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and lead the Clinical Exercise Physiology Program at the University of Michigan Congenital Heart Center. I study safe, accessible, and effective exercise interventions at home to reduce frailty in patients with Fontan circulation. I am also a general pediatric cardiologist and spend time as a supervising cardiologist on the Acute Care Cardiology unit and in my general cardiology clinic at Northville Health Center.

    Research Overview

    My research interests focus on understanding the physical, social, and economic impact of physical activity and exercise across the life span of patients with congenital and acquired heart disease. I also study the impacts of clinical information systems on the delivery and quality of health care in the hospital setting.
